Art creation and reproduction evolved with the advent of technology. Digitalization revolutionized the way artists work and new types of artists specialized in digital production emerged. Digital art as we see it today began in the 70's to describe the works created using digital technology such as computers, television screens, virtual reality, digital tablets and, more recently, the omnipresent tablets.
