Watercolor

Watercolour is a painting technique that uses pigments suspended in a water-based solution such as watercolours or gouache, the last one being more adhesive and opaque. Water-based paints date as far back as cave art but it was during the Renaissance when they became popular among artists. Currently, watercolours are usually commercialized in tubes or pans.
