Uche Edochie is a painter, writer, interior designer, and entrepreneur. Born in 1975, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Painting from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.


Edochie’s studio practice spans twenty-five years with over seventy national and international exhibitions held within this period. His works can be found in public and private collections all around the world, especially Africa, Asia, North America, and Europe.


Edochie’s works are a response to the socio-political realities and challenges of being human in our world today. He works mainly with acrylic on canvas but has explored a variety of media over time. He lives and works out of his studio in Lagos, Nigeria.
