Zainab Akinrinde-Tijani was born on the 3rd of July, 1993. Zainab is from Ibadan, a Yoruba speaking town in south-eastern Oyo state in the southern-western of Nigeria. She studied Fine and Applied Arts at Adeyemi College of Education in Ondo where she graduated in Fine and Applied Arts in 2018. During her time in school, she studied textile art and explored outside the confines of structured education, eventually felling in love with embroidery art. She later served the compulsory one year National Youth Service Corps service at Nike Art Gallery Workshop, with Chief(Mrs) Nike Okundaye, popularly known as Mama Nike.
