Sculpture
Abdullahi Haliru was born in Lagos in 1971, he hails from Etsako West in Edo state. Abdullahi was interested in art from his youth; after his secondary education, he trained as an artist at the federal polytechnic Auchi and obtained the National Certificate of Education in Sculpture in 2006.
Abdullahi has received training under renowned masters like Mr. Olubunmi Babatunde and Patrick Agose, as well as the Universal Studio of Art where he still practices as a studio artist. Abdullahi is a member of art groups such as Art Zero, Face forms and contents, Ota Artist, and the Society of Nigerian Artists.
