Born January 23rd, 1983, Bernard Oguru, also known as Xap the Bernardino, is a painter and a performing artist. He graduated from the Creative Art department at the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos.
Bernard is a practicing full-time studio artist and art consultant. He switched his artistic style from impressionism to abstract, in a bid to obtain a visual identity while attempting to remain unpredictably versatile. He has participated in different group and solo exhibitions.
Bernard is happily married and is a member of the Society of Nigerian Artists (S.N.A).
