Growing up, Gabriel struggled with various challenges including peer pressure, family, and the inability of others’ thoughts to understand his wild imagination causing constant internal and external conflict. Art was his escape from life. Art offered him hope and a promise of a future filled with beautiful colors.
In 2013, Gabriel began an internship with renowned artist AbdulsallamAbdulkareem where he began selling canvas and making craft for commercial use.In 2015, he graduated from Lagos State Polytechnic with a degree in Art and Industrial Design and, since then, he has been also teaching children, teenagers and adults in art workshops with very positive results. He started Vivid Art Gallery in 2015 but changed its name to Vivid Exclusive Art Gallery in 2017.
Creativity as defined as Jideonwor is versatility, improvisation and consistency. Artists whose styles have influenced his work are Leonardo Da Vinci, AbdullasalamAbdukareem, Abiodun Olaku, Barbara Bradley and Voka.
