Born on February 12, 1965 in Jos, Plateau State, Umeh Bede Ifeanyichukwu is a Nigerian professional artist. Umeh obtained a Higher National Diploma in Painting from Yaba College of Technology. He worked as an illustrator with an advertising agency in Bodija, Ibadan called Arbil, before retiring into full-time studio practice. His works can be found in major private and public collections in Nigeria and abroad. He lives and works in Lagos.


Umeh is an active member of the Society of Nigerian Artists Lagos branch and the Visual Art Society of Nigeria.
