Yusuf Seidu Okuns is an experimental visual artist born in 1973 in Sapele, Delta State to Mr. & Mrs. Yusuf Isa Oshiobugie, natives of Auchi, Edo State, Nigeria. He obtained his National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Painting and General Arts from Auchi Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State in 1994 and 1997, respectively. He uses diverse mediums such as oil, acrylic, metal foil, and coco fiber. He lives and works in Benin City, Edo State
Yusuf has been actively involved in teaching art and facilitating workshops. He works out of his studio, called Unique Lifestyle Art. He is currently a principal art production officer, occupational therapy unit of the federal neuro-psychiatric hospital, Benin City, and has participated in numerous exhibitions within and outside Nigeria.
