Painting

A Nigerian born artist, Segun Phillips is a young studio trained artist with a diploma in Fine Arts from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He started his art journey in the year 2010. After years of learning and honing his skills, he was able to develop his own unique style of painting which he calls woodism which uses paint to create a wood-like effect on a painting. It was derived from the popular Araism Technique. He is a lover of good music and often finds inspiration in harmony, tones and lyrical content. His work is influenced by the various sceneries he comes across.
