Disu Opeyemi

Born on 30^th June, 1997, Disu Opeyemi is from Lagos Island in Lagos state. Opeyemi’s talent can be traced back to his early days in Joad private school, where he had his primary school education. He is very good at drawing and has a very strong passion for art. He studied at the Yaba College of Technology where he bagged a National Diploma in General art in 2016, as well as a Higher National Diploma in Painting with upper credit. He did his I.T training at Opedun Art Studios. In 2019 Opeyemi chose to express himself with oil paint (pallete knife) medium, choosing Lagos daily life activities as a reference. He also loves painting expressive portraits. He has participated in various Art Exhibitions and Expos including the Lagos art expo art exhibition organized by the Lagos state government in 2016. He continuously seeks to promote Nigerian art and artists.
