Born on March 19th in Lagos, Nigeria, Oluwanbe Amodu hails from Ondo State, Nigeria. He obtained an Ordinary National Diploma, General Arts from Yaba College of Technology in 2004. He later joined Ara Studio where he received training on the Araism technique, directly under Mufu Onifade in November 2006. He also joined Araism Movement in the same year and debuted in the Araism Movement, he has been a regular exhibiting artist since then. He was selected among 101 Nigerian Artists to be part of a book on celebrating modern contemporary Nigerian Artists, published in 2010 by Mr. Ben Bosha, a Nigerian publisher based in the USA.
