Akhigbe Oziegbe Innocent was born in Auchi, Edo State on the 8th July, 1992. He bagged his National Diploma (ND) in General Arts and Industrial Design from Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi in 2012, Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Textile Design from the prestigious University of Benin (Uniben) in 2016, and currently on his Master's Degree Program in the same University. As the Best Graduating Art student of the year, he won the University of Benin scholar Award in 2017.
Innocent has participated in several art exhibitions including the Uniben 2nd Eminent lecture/Exhibition on the culture at Risk in 2016, Auchi Polytechnic Spill Talent exhibition in 2017, and the NAFEST/SNA Edo exhibition in 2019. Innocent experiments on wool for giant size portraits and narratives of African identity. He is currently the foremost Artist Promoter of Tapestry Art in Nigeria.
