A native of Akwa-Ibom State, Lucky Isaiah was born on the 5th of May, 1980 in Lagos State. He got his Ordinary National Diploma (OND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Painting from Auchi Polytechnic. He received the rector’s award for the best graduating student and a prize for the best student in life and general drawing. He also won the first prize in the NUXART art competition in 2008.
Lucky’s works are inspired by his environment and he depicts his painting more with figures, although he mostly paints street scenes and festivals. Lucky favors vivid colours and his preferred media are oil and acrylic on canvas.
Lucky has participated in several group exhibitions, including the 'Fifty-Nine Nigerian Masters in Translation' in Lagos and Abuja, and the 'Last Picture Show' in Lagos, Douala, and France. His works can be found in local and international collections, and several prominent places like the Nasarawa state house, Access Bank, GTbank, etc...
