Asiegbu Collins was born on the 29th of June, 1991. He graduated from the Department of Fine and Applied Arts in Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra. As an artist and a sculptor, he has stayed committed to the profession as a full-time studio artist after his one-year national youth service, with this he has the leverage to express his feelings and thoughts visually with an aesthetic sense that appeals to his audience.
In 2013, Asiegbu underwent a six months industrial training at the Universal Studios of Art in Lagos, where he mixed with fellow trainees and understudied some of the masters of art, including Odogwu Fidelis, Bunmi Babatunde, Agose Patrick, Dada Adedayo, just to mention a few. His time at the Universal Studios of Art helped sharpen his skills and broaden his horizons.
