CHRISTOPHER OGIEBO
Born in March 1978, to the family of Micheal Ogiebo, a pioneer sculptor in Edo State, Nigeria , Christopher Ogiebo obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Sculpture from Auchi Polytechnic in 2007. His sculptures explore human forms often in a stylized abstract way. He is also an experimental painter and his works are characterized by thick layering of paint and furious brush strokes. He is a member of the Society of Nigerian Artists, Lagos Chapter and has participated in several group exhibitions.
