Born in 1992 in Ondo West, Nigeria, Oyekale Oluwasegun is a visual philosophy artist who hails from Oyo State, Nigeria. He graduated from the fine arts department of the Polytechnic of Ibadan Oyo State, he is also a graduate of the prestigious school of art, Yaba College of Technology, Lagos where he obtained a Higher National Diploma in Painting. He worked as an Industrial Training (IT) student in Universal Studios of Art and he has participated in different Art Workshops and Exhibitions. He is inspired by Duke Asidere's work.


Oyekale’s work centers around the theme of Lebensphilosophie, which emphasizes the meaning, value, and purpose of life. He aims to reconstruct human figures to depict life’s realities. He is fascinated with people, their perceptions towards life, and memories from childhood.


Through visual metaphors, Oyekale comments on the realities of life. His artistic expression brings to light a depth of understanding in its content as it establishes relationships within man’s desires. His aim as an artist is to communicate volumes of knowledge to humans in every stratum, whether he is alive or dead.
