Ibrahim Afegbua was born in 1980, he hails from Estako East, Edo state. He had his early education in Kaduna state. Ibrahim is a full time professional sculptor and a member of Society of Nigerian Artist (SNA), Lagos chapter. He specializes in metal (wire) sculpture and produces ring like and spiral shapes with wire in creating his works. His works are inspired from a powerful reflection of his deepest thoughts, hidden emotions and represent an artistic impression of the visual of everyday life. He has also participated in various art exhibitions and competitions in Nigeria and abroad, and won several awards.
